Uppu Kozhukattai, a savory dumpling made from rice flour and tempered with Indian spices.
As Vinayar Chathurthi is nearby, I thought of posting this uppu kozhukattai recipe that I had prepared a few days back.

Usually I make this kozhukattai as evening snack for tea, but you can offer this as prasadam along with any modagam khozhukattai for the coming vinayar chathurthi.

I personally like to roll the kozhukattai as a thin log, but you can roll it into small balls too. It's purely your choice. Now let's see how to make these simple kozhukattai.

Notes:
  • Instead of microwave, you can boil the water in the stove top too.
  • Depends of rice flour, you may need more or less water, so be careful in adding the water.
  • Sesame oil gives great flavor, so highly recommend it.
  • I have used the store bought rice flour.
