Cone Dosa - a normal dosa in cone shape. It's actually not a recipe, just the technique of how to make cone shaped dosa. Though the taste of dosas are same, the cone shape will make it very appealing and increase the appetite.Give it a try and surprise your kids and family members.
When we were in india, during our drive from Bangalore to Tirunelveli, we used to stop at the restaurant named as "Temple city" near madurai at the bypass, they serve the cone dosa with small disc shaped dosa placed on the top of the dosa and they called as "Temple Dosa". It looks so beautiful. When i tried that in my kitchen, the cone gets collapsed when i place the small dosa on the top, i think that's easy to make with big cone dosa or i have more patient to try this. Will try again,if i would succeed, will update here.

That's it, beautiful cone shaped dosa is ready. Serve it with chutney or sambar.Once the dosa is cooked, make a slit in the dosa from the center to the edge of the dosa with knife or pizza cutter (as shown in picture below).
Keep the flame in lowest possible and then roll the dosa with spatula from one side of the slit to the other side as shown in picture.
Notes:
- Instead of knife or pizza cutter, you can use the normal ever silver spatula(dosa thirupi or sattappai) that we used to flip the dosa to make the slit in dosa.
- While make the slit, be gentle, else it will leave the mark in dosa pan.
