Mochai Kuzhambu, a delicious and tangy curry made with fresh mochai. This curry tastes great with hot steamed rice along with simple poriyal or kootu.
Even after moved to Bangalore, whenever get a chance, we would love to visit Farmer's market in Hosur where a lot of country vegetables are available throughout the year. I don't know some of the vegetables or greens name available there, but the sellers are kind enough to explain all about the vegetables or greens and even some like to share the recipe on how to cook them.
One of our visit to Farmer's market, i got the fresh mochai and tried various recipes , one among them is this Mochai Kulambu. We both loved this a lot ,it's absolutely finger-licking delicious.

Notes:
- You can make this curry with dry mochai too. Make sure to soak them overnight and follow the recipe as it is !
- You can skip the drumstick in this recipe and make it as plain mochai kuzhambu
- Or even you can add brinjal to this curry, the combination is good.
- Dont throw away the cooked water of mochai, it's so flavorful and use it in kulambu.
