Mayonnaise is a thick, creamy sauce often used as a condiment. It is a stable emulsion of oil with egg yolk  and either vinegar or lemon juice. But here i'm sharing the recipe of eggless mayonnaise. It's so creamy and great alternative to those who want to avoid eggs.
Though the origin of Mayonnaise is not sure, it's most commonly believed to be originated in MenorcaSpain.

Eggless Mayonnaise

Preparation Time : 5 mins | Cooking Time : 5 mins minsMakes : 1 cup
Recipe Category: Sauce | Recipe Cuisine: Spain
Ingredients

Milk - 1 cup

Corn flour  - 3 tbsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Mustard powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Procedure
Take flour in a bowl, add 1/2 cup of milk, mix it well without any lumps. Add the remaining milk in the sauce pan and heat it .When the milk is about to spoil, add the flour mixture and mix it continuously. It's starts to become thick immediately. Mine got ready in about 2 mins.Remove it from flame, add the mustard, pepper ,salt & sugar and mix well. Then add the vinegar & Olive oil and mix it vigorously until it become creamy. That's tasty Eggless Mayonnaise / Vegenaise is ready.

Notes:
  • The flour mixture thickens very quickly,so always keep the flame in low to avoid over thickening
  • It should be in easy spreadable consistency.
